Inner Wheel Club of Petaling Jaya
Welcoming new members
IWCPJ was delighted to have two new members joining us in October 2019.
They are Andrea Gwendolyn and Navarani introduced by Valsala and Ambika respectively. Both are very keen and talented ladies who are all out to give their best to the good work done by the Inner wheel club, Petaling Jaya.
Deepavali Cheer
Deepavali season and we were all set for the Deepavali cheer done by the IWCPJ ladies that took place on Monday, the 21st of October. The wonderful feeling of joy that comes with sharing cheer with the needy was evident. President Nirmala and some members went to Klang to cheer up and gave provisions of rice, milk powder, oil, milo etc to some poor single mothers and handicapped ladies. They felt loved and their faces lit up. The purpose of this is to demonstrate that we care and the members too felt real joy when giving of their time and treasure.
In addition Thavam and Sue donated sarees to the poor ladies at the Klang Sai centre.
