Every year, when the Chinese members of the Inner Wheel Club of Kuala Lumpur celebrate their Lunar New Year or Spring Festival, they will host a lunch for all their non-Chinese members. This year, a wonderful lunch was hosted by Datin Linda Koay to all the members.  A total of 70 people were invited to the lunch, held in a very nice Chinese Restaurant called China Treasure on 4th February which falls on the 11th day of the Chinese New Year celebration.

National Representative, Mrs Juanita Lee who was in charge of decorations of the lunch venue, had put up the most beautiful decoration. Every guest was given a fan donated by NR Juanita and another member, Datin Vynette Lim.

The Club's Royal Patron, HRH The Queen from The Royal House of Negri Sembilan graced the occasion. Also present were Honorary Member Toh Puan Dato‘ Seri Hjh Dr Aishah Ong, Tengku Norzehan and members of the club and friends.

Students from Sekolah Menengah Kebangasaan Jinjang performed a Lion Dance and two other beautiful dances to entertain our guests. As we tossed the "yee sang", a dish that signified all things beautiful, Datin Brenda led a chorus of auspicious sayings and blessings. Club President Sue Pon thanked Datin Linda and all the Chinese members who helped with the decorations, donations and ensuring a very successful lunch.

NR Juanita and her team organised a game for the members and gave a very enjoyable performance.

A fund raised during the Chinese New Year fellowship was donated to SMK Jinjang.  The total of RM12,000, which included RM5,000 from the Club, was given to SMK Jinjang specifically to support the promotion and sustainability of Chinese culture, traditions and arts activities among the students. This project has been running successfully for many years.
