Cheque Presentation to Sekolah Semangat Maju
Inner Wheel Club of Taiping

After the monthly club general meeting, members headed to Sekolah Semangat Maju (SSM). Club President Vijayalaxmi Kandasamy presented a cheque of RM10,000.00 to Mr Joseph Lau Tee See, Board Chairman of SSM. Also present were the Principal, Board Treasurer and two staff members.
Club members took the opportunity to have tea together in fellowship after the meeting.
SSM is a school for mentally challenged children. The Inner Wheel Club of Taiping has undertaken a long term commitment to adopt the school. This donation was made possible through a fund raising event held on 18 January 2020.
