Pre-loved sofa set for a bare home.

The Inner Wheel Club of Alor Setar (IWC AS) has literally ‘adopted’ a severely poor family living in a squatter home with the barest minimum in the outskirts of Jitra. The Club has helped this family several times with provisions and other basic essentials, like bedding, cooking utensils and provisions in the past.
Recently, a well-wisher contacted the Club and said that she wanted to donate her pre-loved sofa set to a deserving family and IWC AS did not hesitate in letting her know of this family.
Arrangements were made with a transportation company and on 16 November 2021, the sofa set was delivered to the absolute delight and gratitude of this family.
Hopefully, the sofa set will make the home more liveable and the family can rest their tired feet more comfortably. IWC AS extends its sincerest appreciation to the well-wisher as do the family members who are slowly adapting to more comforts with the help of IWC AS.
