DC's Visit and 5th AGM

The Inner Wheel Club of Subang Selangor (IWCSS) welcomed District Chairman (DC) Shamini Nair for her official visit to the Club at its 5th General Meeting which was held virtually on 17th November ‘21.
DC came online with her 14-month-old granddaughter, a cherub who witnessed the start of the meeting. President Indira read out the poignant poem ‘My Soul Has a Hat’ that DC quoted in her most recent message as it is a very thought provoking one. Soon the meeting got to the business of the day. The President introduced the committee members and members present. Reports from the Executive Committee were presented.
IWCSS showcased all the projects and events that took place during the last and this Inner Wheel terms in the form of a video. DC Shamini was also briefed about the ongoing and the forthcoming projects. She was impressed with some of them and pledged RM200/- for the Christmas Cheer that will be held next month.
The gift to DC was delivered earlier to her home and she opened it for all to see: a beautiful set of aromatic essential oils. The meeting ended with the little cherub climbing back on to her grandmother’s lap and bidding club members goodbye!
