Donating medical supplies to a hospital is truly no walk in the park. It entails liaising with the Logistics Pharmacy Department to ensure each and every one of their stringent requirements is adhered to. The Inner Wheel Club of Kuala Lumpur (IWCKL) persevered because the pandemic brought about by the coronavirus does not seem to be letting up soon, and medical supplies are indeed always welcomed.

On 8 December, 5 members of IWCKL made their way to the loading bay of the Logistics Pharmacy, Hospital Shah Alam, to hand over 400 pieces of N95 face masks, 25 tubs of 4-Litre sanitisers and 10 boxes of 50 pairs each of surgical gloves. This is only a small contribution to help our medical frontliners combat this scourge. President Jinny presented the items to Puan Shafinaz, the Person-in Charge, who along with her words of thanks also handed a Certificate of Appreciation to IWCKL.

It was a commendable effort by the Club, to assist the medical staff for a change, one the members can certainly be proud of. What a memorable way to close 2021.

May 2022 bring IWCKL to greater heights!
