On 20th December 2021, the Inner Wheel Club of Melaka (IWC M) carried out a charity project in aid of The National Cancer Society of Malaysia (NCSM), Melaka.
The IWC M team was met by Michaelina Chua, NCSM Melaka Project Manager and Vijayalakshimy Silvathorai, NCSM Melaka Head of Clinical Support at The NCSM Melaka office at Jln Ong Kim Wee, Melaka.
Petrina Goh, our dependable Club Correspondent had prepared a gigantic mock cheque for the cheque presentation.
IWCM had made a collective decision to donate a sum of RM3000 to NCSM, Melaka specifically towards the Cancer Children’s Oral Nutrition Supplement (ONS). Michaelina Chua, NCSM Project Manager explained that in their ONS Programme for Childhood Cancer, patients are provided with proper Oral Nutrition Supplements to enable them to gain strength as well as to facilitate their cancer treatment journey and recovery.
IWCM is privileged to provide some financial assistance to NCSM, Melaka through the Oral Nutrition Supplement for the children in their care. IWC M’s members hope the aid is timely and will bring some financial assistance to NCSM Melaka towards their Clinical and Community Support and Programmes.
