Flood aid to Bentong Animal Shelter

The recent floods that hit the states of Selangor and Pahang not only displaced people but also animals. The shelter for animals in Bentong was hit and destroyed. A rescue mission under the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals was started. Their appeal to support these silent members of our community reached IWC Subang Selangor.
There was urgent need for animal feed, medicine and funds to rebuild the shelter. The fencing was broken and some of the animals had gone missing too.
Members rallied among themselves and collected funds and this was then channelled to the organisation. It is indeed a season for giving and caring. Club members extend their heartfelt appreciation to volunteers who are assisting at the shelter.
It is indeed a year of resilience and reflection.
