Friendship and fellowship in Kuantan

Like many parts of our lives, friendships have been severely impacted by the pandemic. Many people missed out on small talk with office-mates, close friends or acquaintances they would meet at parties.
Many long-distance friends had to cancel their annual getaways or visits to see each other. Things definitely got shaken up also among Inner Wheel members.
Members of the Inner Wheel Club of Klang took the opportunity of the relaxed travel restrictions for a 3 days-2 nights trip to Club Med Cherating, Kuantan. Seven members took the opportunity to take the trip together.
This created a treasure trove of memories for these close friends. They had a great time with lots of laughter, dancing and sharing experiences with one another while enjoying the delicious food. Just relaxing together at the beach was one of the most delightful activities.
The ladies of IWC Klang had the opportunity to meet up with their counterparts from IWC Kuantan Indera Mahkota for fellowship lunch on the way to Cherating. It was indeed a great pleasure to meet up the Kuantan members.
Their hospitality exceeded all expectations. Delicious and authentic banana leaf lunch with so many varieties of food was arranged by the gracious hosts. A gift exchange between the two clubs was organized right after lunch.
It was a great opportunity to get to know one another in person physically rather than virtually. The efforts of District International Service Organiser Datin Pathma Ramanathan and President Renuha Ratnasingam for the great fellowship were truly appreciated.
The ladies of IWC Klang were happy for the beautiful Sarongs and Pearl jewellery sets which were gifted to them. A firm friendship in Inner Wheel has certainly been established between the two clubs.
