IWC Alor Setar holds 4th AGM

On 25 March 2022, in accordance with its Constitution which requires the AGM to be held before the end of March, the Inner Wheel Club of Alor Setar (IWC AS) held its fourth AGM via zoom. The meeting was chaired by Jaya Menon with 13 members in attendance.
After the formalities of approving the third AGM minutes, the Secretary’s Executive Report and the Audited Accounts from 1 January to 31 December were tabled, discussed and approved, nominations were called for ExCo positions for the 2022-2023 term.
Vice President Tunku Zamharir was unanimously elected as the new President while Ooi Phaik Yim took the VP’s post, with most of the 2021 -2022 ExCo retaining their posts.
In her address, President Pavitratha thanked her team for the invaluable service and cooperation rendered and apologised that she could not really fulfil all the programmes that had been planned due to illness.
She then displayed a lovely coin purse which each member would receive from her as a token of her appreciation, while all members would be given a lovely shopping bag to commemorate another year of service and camaraderie.
