Laughter and glee at Frangipani

After over 2 years of restricted movement and with mostly online organising of events, meetings etc. IWCSS decided to have a friendship luncheon to catch up in person.
Jayanthi and President Indira arranged a well-designed lunch menu at the Frangipani Restaurant. As the name suggests, Frangipani is a hardy plant and symbolises challenging times, yet resembles grace and beauty. Certainly, a fitting place for the lovely members of IWCSS to have good time together after undertaking numerous projects which needed much manoeuvring during the pandemic and adhering to the strict SOPs.
It was a wonderful afternoon with members attending, all wearing their Sunday best and looking pretty. The ambience and good food added to a much-needed relaxing afternoon.
The dining area was filled with much chattering, laughter and joy and certainly made the quiet afternoon not so quiet after all. Members came away with various plans of future get-togethers, perhaps even overnight stay as there is still so much to catch up.
