Brunch is always a good idea

IWC of Taiping sponsored a brunch recently for 85 students and staff of Sekolah Semangat Maju (SSM) Taiping on 11th May 2022. SSM is a school established in 1992 by volunteers of Perak Association for Intellectually Challenged Children. Members of IWC Taiping have been helping out at this school since 1995.
Students were served with rice, chicken curry, salad, cordial drinks and ice cream. Club members interacted with the students and staff. The school has been going through tough times since the COVID 19 pandemic and are unable to carry on their annual food fair to raise money.
President Karamjeet Kaur informed Ms Jeet, SSM school principal that members will help out in sharing skills useful to the children like baking and sewing. This would be an ongoing project to support the school.
