Dental Project at Convent Bukit Mertajam
Inner Wheel Club of Butterworth

The Inner Wheel Club of Butterworth (IWC Butterworth) conducted a joint project with Penang International Dental College (PIDC) at Convent Bukit Mertajam on the 17th August 2022. Six fourth year students, led by Lecturer Dr.Jayashri Nerali who is the Club Secretary attended to 15 preschoolers at the said Kindergarten.
The CEO of PIDC Dr.Abrizah Ahmad, President Datin Santhi Sundara and Past President Lucy Barrock of IWC Butterworth also attended the camp. Basic steps of oral hygience, good nutritional habits and advice were given before each of the preschoolers had their teeth checked.
The preschoolers also participated in a Q&A session and board games by the Dental Students. President Santhi gave a short meaningful speech after Dr Abrizah’s address and Puan Balkis Kader Bawa of SK Convent B.M thanked all parties concerned.
