Spreading Deepavali Cheer at Sivananda Home

It is customary for the Inner Wheel Club of Kuala Lumpur North (IWC KL North) to seize the opportunity festivals present to celebrate with marginalised and underprivileged communities and this Deepavali was no different.
IWC KL North’s members Saro, Meena and her spouse visited the Sivananda Home to continue to spread festive cheer to the home with 23 young boys resident there. Some of the items distributed to the boys were dhotis, clothes, socks and also cookies.
The bright, young boys were pleased to receive the gifts and later treated the members to a yoga performance, demonstrating what they have learned through the various asanas or postures.
Following the event, the Club Members expressed gratitude for the opportunity to visit and share joyous moments with the young boys.
IWC KL North can’t wait to plan for the upcoming Christmas festivities to mark an exciting end to the year.
