Gift Of Sight, a joint-project of IWC PJ and RC Damansara

The Inner Wheel Club of Petaling Jaya (IWC PJ) and the Rotary Club of Damansara (RC Damansara) collaborated for a “Gift of Sight Project” on 2nd Dec 2022 at Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan (SJKT) Ladang Kuala Selangor, Selangor.
IWC PJ had earlier arranged for initial eye checks by an optician for the students from B40 families. Forty-one students who required spectacles were identified and these spectacles were then sponsored by RC Damansara.
President Navarani Veithilingam of IWCPJ and President Susan Thomas of RC Damansara spearheaded the presentation of spectacles at the school to the students who were ever so grateful for the “gift of sight” as now they could focus on their studies with better vision and thereby more comfort. Each of these children were additionally presented with a pair of socks, also sponsored by RC Damansara.
The headmistress, Madame Kalaimany Muniandy, presented a Certificate and a beautiful Display Potted Plant as appreciation to IWC PJ and RC Damansara.
To quote, “Give the Gift of Sight and See a Whole New Light”.
