A Visit to The Children’s Protection Society

President Arvind, Secretary Swarnalatha, Treasurer Datin Sala and Club Correspondent (CC) Grace Voon of the Inner Wheel Club of Penang (IWC Penang) paid a visit to the Children’s Protection Society (CPS) on the 7th December 2022. CPS is a shelter for both male and female children aged 5-17. This shelter is a religiously unaffiliated organization that caters to neglected, abandoned and abused children who come from dysfunctional and poverty-stricken families.
IWC Penang presented RM1000 worth of gift vouchers without expiry dates to a representative of CPS. Each of these vouchers is worth RM100 - purchased from Tan Mark Bookstore.
President Arvind and club members had the opportunity to get to know the children at the residence during their brief visit. CC Grace was thrilled to snap some photographs of the children doing school homework together also the environment surrounding the residence. The ladies were pleased to note that the place is well maintained and clean.
