Inner Wheel Clubs (IWCs) abide by three main objectives which motivate members to: promote true friendship, encourage the ideals of personal service and foster international understanding, in their quest for a better world. With the current theme of “Work Wonders” as their inspiration, seven Inner Wheel (IW) members from District 330 started on a mission of Friendship and Fellowship across borders to Karnataka, India on 16th December 2022.
Leading the friendship delegation was IWC Klang’s President, Dr Theyveeka Selvy Rajoo. Members who joined the group included District 330’s Treasurer Anurathe Ganapathy, President of IWC Ipoh East, Sarala Govindan Nair; IWC Penang’s President Arvind Das, President Vasugi Kanniah and Secretary Komathi Ramalingam of IWC Ipoh and Charter member of IWC Butterworth, Sornakumari Dhurairaj.
IW District 330’s members were warmly welcomed by IW members of District 318. President Dr.Theyveeka and team also attended the Kanasu Conference and visited various IW clubs in Karnataka which are part of District 318. It turned out to be a truly a great fellowship between members of both Districts.
They exchanged bannerettes and established friendship-ties between the two districts and the clubs that were represented. The visitors also had the opportunity to go on a site seeing tour and they thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful scenery of Karnataka.
