Project 19 – Christmas and New Year Celebration with Vulnerable Communities and Free Medical Consultations

The Inner Wheel Club of Klang (IWC Klang)’s members celebrated Christmas and New Year at Rumah Kebajikan Rita, a shelter home thus bringing celebration cheers to members of several vulnerable communities in the process. Rita Home has eighty-four special needs men and women, single mothers and abandoned children aged two years and above.
IWC Klang sponsored lunch while its club members donated medical kits, hygiene kits, books and clothes. Happiness & excitements could be discerned on the children’s faces which was very gratifying.
Dr Theyveeka Selvy, President of IWC Klang who is a medical doctor by profession gave free medical consultation for the elderly residents. She also gave advice to the management regarding the set-up of the medical bay inside Rita Home.
