Talk on reproductive health for students.
Inner Wheel Club of Ipoh East

On 1st February 2023, an educational talk in relation to reproductive health was conducted by the Inner Wheel Club of Ipoh East along with the Lembaga Penduduk dan Pembangunan Keluarga Negara (LPPKN) in SMK Megat Khas Ipoh.
It was a one-day programme that consisted of two different sessions, one in the morning and the other in the afternoon for several age groups. Approximately 10 members representing IWCIE were present on the day of the event to provide support and to encourage the participation of students.
Ms Logarani a trainer from LPPKN was in charge of conducting the talks during the event and she also carried out several activities for the students. One of these was the “House Tree Person Personality Test”, which was facilitated by the IWCIE’s members. The purpose of the test was to measure aspects of the students’ personalities through the interpretation of drawings and responses to questions which were a part of the talk.
Later for lunch, bento boxes were sponsored by the club for the students. They were provided with goodie bags by the club while the female students also received sanitary napkins from LPPKN. At the end of the session, IWCIE received a token of appreciation from the school and Ms Logarani was given a token of appreciation by the club.
The session ended with high tea and fellowship with the teachers of SMK Megat Khas. It was a successful event overall that had benefited the students and given members a great time of fellowship as well.
