The Office of Penang State EXCO Menmber and Assemblywoman for Padang Lalang Yang Berhomat Chong Eng hosted the Chinese New Year 2023 Celebration. President Datin Santhi Sundara and District Webmaster Lucy Barrock of the Inner Wheel Club of Butterworth attended the celebration at 6.30pm at the MLA’s Office and were happy to be greeted by lion dance and drummers. The Guest of Honor was the Right Honourable Chief Minister of Penang Yang Amat Berhormat Chow Kon Yeow and other dignitaries who attended were Deputy Federal Minister of Women, family and Community Development Aiman Athirah Sabu and Datuk Florence Sinniah of Sneham Malaysia. The food was sumptuous and event was enhanced further with dancers, musicians, ample photo opportunities and spectacular display of firework. Everyone enjoyed themselves very much.
