Workshop on digital marketing

The Inner Wheel Club of Butterworrth organised another workshop for women empowerment on the topic of Digital Marketing. Digital platforms including software, apps and media are easily accessed on computers, laptops, tablets and mobile phones. They have become increasingly incorporated into marketing plans and everyday life and people increasingly use such platforms when marketing products.
This free Course sponsored by Registrar of Societies was held on 11th March 2023 from 9.00am till 4.30pm at Kolej Komuniti Seberang Jaya. A total of 20 participants took part including five of Inner Wheel Club of Butterworth’s members led by Club President Datin Santhi Sundara and Secretary Dr. Jayashri Nerali.
The facilitator and coach Encik Mohammad Rahimi conducted the workshop and explained the importance of digital marketing in today’s world. Much knowledge was imparted by the coach in the context of digital products, unique selling propositions (USP) and the use of social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok etc.
Coach Rahimi also touched on Chat GBT- open AI, Bank Content, Ad library and lastly the use of Canva, including showing participants how to edit, do videos, also create designs and logos. It was a full day workshop with breakfast and lunch provided and the participants were given certificates of attendance issued by the Kolej Komuniti.
It was indeed a fruitful and informative workshop and all participants were satisfied with the knowledge gained. The Inner Wheel Club of Butterworth is happy to support the current International Women’s Day theme of Embrace Equity in its activities.
