Inclement weather does it again!

Flash floods again! This time in the vicinity of Country Heights in Kajang. The 20 male foreigners employed as contract workers took the brunt of the rising waters. A kind soul Mr Sankaran 82, a resident in the area took it upon himself to help these unfortunate workers who were only able to salvage their documents and were left with nothing else. When club members Mano, NR Pari and Kris visited the area it was still under 4 feet of water.
There was no request for financial help but the workers required clothes, bedsheets, pillows, utensils and groceries. Their employer was away for Hari Raya.
Two club members generously donated money to purchase milo, detergent. biscuits etc for the victims. Club members collected men’s clothes, blankets, linen and other requested items and delivered it to the site.
This is not the first time that IWCSS has responded to flood victims and it will not be the last considering the heavy rains and flooding which has become a part of the Malaysian weather pattern.
