The Inner Wheel Club of Subang Selangor (IWCSS) has been extending financial assistance to Kamalambigai, a cancer survivor. She had very little family support and it has been a real struggle for her.
She had an old model mobile phone which had insufficient memory and was not meeting the needs of present-day messaging and WhatsApp requirements. After much deliberation and discussion, the Club agreed to sponsor a phone below 400 RM.
Asha, an IWCSS member was entrusted with the purchase and she wasted no time in buying it and delivering it to Kamalambigai who was touched by the club’s generosity and compassion. It is hard to determine whether a mobile phone is a necessity or a luxury nowadays. IWCSS decided it was a necessary device for this woman to stay connected.
