15th Anniversary of Inner Wheel Club of Ipoh East and a Nyonya Dinner

On the 4th of June 2023, four members of the Inner Wheel Club of Kuala Lumpur City Centre: Datin Pearl Jai Mohan, President Karen Loo, ISO Vicky Changi and CC Jessy Jit boarded the ETS from Sentral Station and headed for Ipoh. Also accompanying them was incoming Deputy NR Yvonne Mok from the Inner Wheel Club of Kota Kinabalu.
They were met by Datin Dr Ramani Subramaniam who met them at the Ipoh Station and very kindly sent them to the Royal Ipoh Club. The ladies then rushed to get ready for the event and proceeded to the Weil Hotel.
It was an absolutely awesome event. There was great fellowship, lots of good food and very entertaining cultural shows put up by the host club. It was indeed an enjoyable way to spend an afternoon with friends.
The next day, the four ladies from IWCKLCC who stayed on in Ipoh decided to go on a shopping spree. It was a delightful afternoon indeed. In the evening they attended a Nyonya dinner hosted by the Inner Club of Ipoh East at the 1919 restaurant. Once again, Datin Dr Ramani Subramaniam picked the ladies up and headed towards a night of wonderful fellowship with the President of the club Sarala Govindan Nair, Charter President Linda Wong, IIW Past Editor/Media Manager Cheng Yeok San and of course Datin Dr Ramani herself.
The ladies had a fabulous time chatting and sharing amidst eating the delicious Nyonya food. All good things must come to an end as the next day the four ladies again caught the ETS back to Kuala Lumpur. It was a memorable trip indeed for the ladies.
