District Chairman’s Visit to IWC Ipoh, Perak

District Chairman (DC), M.Krishnaveni made an official visit to meet Inner Wheel Club of Ipoh members on 11 February 2023 at Datin Gnana’s residence, in conjunction with celebrating Datin Gnana’s 90th birthday. On behalf of the club, President Vasugi Sundralingam welcomed the DC.
She expressed her sincere thanks to the DC for her visit to IWC Ipoh. Firstly, a slideshow was presented by Club Correspondent Vidhya Amol Yesodharan on the events carried out in the year 2022 to date.
Following the lighting of the candle and reciting the Candle of Friendship poem, the DC shared some valuable advice on District matters and also encouraged members to take up posts in the District.
After this, the members celebrated Datin Gnana’s 90th Birthday with a cake-cutting ceremony and members received blessings from Datin together with the DC. The DC was next treated to a potluck buffet lunch with varieties of dishes prepared by members.
On behalf of the club, Datin Gnana presented DC with a gift of a shawl. The DC was very pleased with the lovely gift and the wonderful lunch.
