Final Club Meeting and Fellowship of Inner Wheel Year 2022-2023

Thirteen members of the Inner Wheel Club of Butterworth got together for the final Club Meeting and Fellowship of term 2022-2023 on 17th June 2023 at President Datin Santhi Sundara’s lovely residence. It was also a celebration of Club Vice President Shanthi Shanmugam’s birthday.
Club Secretary Dr Jayashri did the roll call and led other meeting protocols. Datin Santhi thanked everyone for their support during her two-year term in office which started in July 2021. The status of the club’s activities and finances were thoroughly analysed.
The installation of the incoming committee was discussed as was the possibility of attending sister-clubs’ installations. The AGM date was finalised.
The meeting soon gave way to fellowship which is always the favourite part of any get-together. There were a few lucky draws that had winners squealing in delight.
The delicious tea-time delicacies and hot masala tea to wash it all down were truly appreciated. There was much camaraderie and loads of laughter as members exchanged anecdotes.
President Datin Santhi gave everyone door gifts acquired during her recent trip to Nepal. It has been a memorable couple of terms with Datin Santhi at the helm and the club is proud of its many achievements under her watch.
