DC’s Visit and Installation of IWC AS ExCo

The Inner Wheel Club of Alor Setar (IWC AS) held a 'three-in-one' event on 15 July 2023 at the Jerai Hotel in Alor Setar, comprising DC Kamala Yeap's visit, the first Meeting for the 2023-2024 term, and the Installation of the 2023-2024 ExCo of IWC AS. The first Meeting was held successfully, observed by DC Kamala, DVC Vimala, DEC Shanti Menon, DE Lucy and NR Datin Dr. Ramani, followed by a QnA Session with the DC.
Then, everyone adjourned for the high tea, dressed in their purple best which was the theme colour for the evening. After the formalities of installing the ExCo, members and guests enjoyed a sumptuous high tea whilst being entertained by the '251' Band from UUM. Everyone had a fabulous time, some singing and some taking to the floor to dance. It was truly a foot-loose, fancy-free evening and a memorable one. Congratulations to the 2023-2024 ExCo - hope the team can carry out their 'purple reign' successfully and take IWC AS to greater heights of excellence.
