The 23 July 2023 was a special day today for the Inner Wheel Club of Alor Setar (IWCAS). For the fifth time running, the Club was selected as one of the lucky recipients of the annual grant awarded by the Sultanah Bahiyah Foundation (YSB).
President Tunku Munirah, Immediate Past President Tunku Zamharir and Club Correspondent Robiah, attended a glittering ceremony cum hi-tea at a hotel in Alor Setar to receive the award.
The activities of the Club during its WORK WONDERS year have not gone unnoticed by the Foundation. The members of the Club are truly delighted and elated that IWC AS is still on YSB’s radar as a Club that goes out of its way to promote the ideals of personal service, and make a difference in the lives of the deserving.
A huge vote of thanks to YTM Tunku Intan Safinaz, the beautiful princess of Kedah, and an avid supporter of IWC AS, and the Foundation for this invaluable recognition, one that serves as a motivation for us to forge ahead and make invaluable inroads.
God Willing, IWC AS will endeavor to SHINE A LIGHT this year, and beyond.
