International Day of Friendship

In conjunction with International Day of Friendship, IWCJB decided to “Shine a Light” by visiting children at the Johor Disabled Children Charitable and Cares Organisation of Johor Bahru.
This Organisation is an NGO established in 1990 that offers personalized care for special needs Children, with the goal that they achieve productive, fulfilling and happy lives.
The visit was initiated by President Amy by channelling cash donations from regular donor Mrs Kausalya to treat the children with KFC meals and drinks. The visit brought smiles to the children's faces and they really appreciated the visit.
International Friendship Day is a time to consider the importance of friends in our lives. This event was truly appreciated by members of IWCJB as it gave us an opportunity to serve and do things together with friends.
The team continued to meet up in the evening to celebrate and cherish the friendship with members at a Mexican Restaurant. A short fellowship was held to discuss our upcoming Installation in September 2023.
