A FRUITFUL BRIEFING BY REGISTRAR OF SOCIETIES KEDAH

Three ExCo members of IWC AS, President Tunku Munirah, Treasurer Dr. Nesa and Secretary cum ISO Padmini attended a briefing on how NGOs should be managed in terms of adherence to rules and regulations. This outreach programme was organised by the Registrar of Societies (RoS) Kedah at Wisma Persekutuan Alor Setar on 21 August 2023.
Three speakers shared their nuggets of wisdom on several pertinent issues, and of deep interest for the trio was the proper management of the charity account, how to apply for grants under the Department of Social Welfare and how to ensure Clubs are abreast with the requirements of the e-Roses system.
It was a very beneficial session indeed and doubts and queries were adequately addressed by the speakers.
IWCAS members are always on an upward learning curve to ensure the Club is well-managed and all documents are maintained systematically. A huge note of appreciation to ROS Kedah for the invite. IWC AS looks forward to more such knowledge-sharing sessions in the future.
