Donation for Art Exhibition in promoting Mental Wellness

In conjunction with the World Health Day, President Daljit, DS Jillian and Club Secretary Swarnalatha visited the Art Exhibition at Waxwing Care Centre Penang on the 8th October 2023. This exhibition was to showcase community art to share hope, joy, inner comfort, and creativity from members of the public.
Penangite, Khoo Ling In, a professional art psychotherapist, was present to receive a cheque of RM1100 donated by IWC of Penang to help promote the wellness of mental health. This project specifically targets children going through mental issues due to psychological and physical abuse. Through “Art” the children learn to express their feelings and are helped accordingly during some therapy sessions.
