IWC AS celebrates fifth anniversary in style

On 28 October 2023, 18 members of IWC AS, donned in their uniquely designed purple tees, gathered at the welcoming home of their dear member, Tengku Maheran, to celebrate a remarkable milestone - the Club’s fifth anniversary.

The centre-piece of the celebration was a beautiful cake, adorned with the Inner Wheel logo, to represent five years of togetherness and friendship. A generous assortment of cookies, fried noodles and tea also awaited the members.

Over the past half-decade, IWC AS had embarked on an inspiring journey, carrying out charitable and fellowship activities that resonated with the very essence of the ideals of Inner Wheel. The experience gained over these years were like stepping stones on the path of progress, helping the Club to evolve and grow from strength to strength.

However, the true magic lay in the bonds that had been woven between the members. Through the ups and downs, they had formed deep and meaningful connections that transcended the boundaries of mere friendship. They had become a family, a support system, and a source of unyielding strength for one another.

As they gathered around the cake, and listened to Charter President Padmini giving a quick run through of the Club’s journey, each member’s heart swelled with pride, not just for what they had accomplished as a Club, but for the profound connections they had cultivated.

Members are looking ahead, eager to scale even greater heights in their quest to fulfil the goals of Inner Wheel, and specifically, TO SHINE A LIGHT this term. With camaraderie at the core of their mission, the Club’s journey is far from over. The future is akin to a canvas waiting to be painted with the colours of the members’ collective passion and purpose.
