Deepavali Celebrations 2023

Deepavali or Diwali, is a festival celebrated by Hindus, Sikhs and Jains across the world. It is a festival of new beginnings, the triumph of good over evil and light over darkness.

On 17th Nov 2023, 7.00 pm, Inner Wheel Club of Taiping members had pot luck Deepavali gathering at Malinee’s residence. Members came gorgeously dressed in their saree and salwar kameez and brought along some Indian cuisine. The evening started with a short monthly

meeting, photography session, dining and followed by a dance practice.

Malaysia, being a multi-racial country, such gatherings bring out camaraderie, female bonding, a spirit of good friendship and loyalty among members of a group.
