IWC KL Members Attending IWC Penang Crystal Celebration and Installation of New President

On 26 November 2023, IWC Penang held its Crystal Celebration and New President Installation. IWC KL, the Mother Club of IWC Penang, was represented by its 4 Members in attendance at the Event: PP, PDISO Advisor Foong Pack, Members Sharon Tan, Cindy Ching and CC Pang Yoke Ling.

The team started their journey from Kuala Lumpur early in the morning, in a car graciously driven by Sharon Tan. Upon arrival, they partook in a delicious lunch at the Nyonya Bibik Restaurant and then checked into a hotel.

At 6.00 pm they promptly attended the Event held at the Marriot Court dressed by the theme of “Bling Bling”. Many guests rose to the occasion and dressed accordingly. IWC KL Members went around to get to know other Club Members. Many photographs were taken.

IWC KL Member Cindy Ching won one of the Best Dressed awards, Foong Pack and Sharon Tan won the Lucky Draw.

The installation was very well organised, food was most enjoyable. The fellowship was wonderful.

The next day the Members left Penang after eating the local breakfast of white curry laksa and fried kway teow. The food was delicious. No one would leave Penang empty-handed without their famed array of biscuits. The car boot was filled to the brim with goodies.

The next stop was Ipoh. The eating spree and food shopping continued. Somehow the Ipoh famed biscuits, salted chicken and smoked ducks managed to find their way into the already full car boot! The fun and laughter never stopped. There was so much fun and the journey of many hours flew by very quickly. It was a very memorable trip indeed….and the goodies made their way to Kuala Lumpur unscathed.
