An Evening To Remember

On 4 December 2023, members of the Inner Wheel Club of Alor Setar (IWC AS) gathered for their third Meeting at the home of member, Tengku Maheran. As it was still within the month of Deepavali, and the birthday of President Tunku Munirah (TM), members decided to make it an extra special festive day. A luscious chocolate cake surrounded by a tempting array of treats beckoned indulgence as soon as the Meeting was adjourned.

During the Meeting, members exchanged ideas and laid plans for the approaching 2024 year with renewed vigour. Having done well in 2023, members are poised to continue making meaningful differences.

Post-meeting, the gathering seamlessly transitioned into a dual celebration, merging Deepavali with President TM’s birthday. The room buzzed with warmth and joy, weaving a tapestry of friendship. The delectable food disappeared in no time, leaving everyone wholly satisfied as the day concluded.

December 4 marked the formal conclusion of 2023’s proceedings, intertwined with the jubilant fusion of Deepavali and a birthday celebration. IWC AS embraced the essence of togetherness and festivity on this memorable occasion, pledging to continue this “shine a light” spirit throughout the rest of the 2023-2024 term and beyond.
