IWC JB Zumba Charity Event on the 5th December 2023

The Zumba Charity Event was a brainchild of Charter President Sumathi aiming to donate custom-made wheelchairs for children affected by cerebral palsy at the Johor Disabled Children Charitable and Cares Organization in Johor Bahru. IWC JB raised funds for the event by selling tickets to the public, friends and club members.

The morning was all about uniting people on a dance floor and swaying to the beats of music, all in support of a charitable cause. This infectious fitness sensation not only provided an exhilarating workout for the body but also stirred the soul with its noble purpose.

Gracing the occasion were the generous contributions of sponsors such as Sunny Pang IWCJB Treasurer, who provided participants with delightful goody bags. Notably, the event received support from several proprietors at Sunway Citrine Hub, The Pilates Place, contributing to its success.

Beyond the vibrant energy and the joyous ambiance, the organizers were driven by a heartfelt desire to play a part in enhancing the lives of the children by providing them with much-needed wheelchairs. Their dedication and commitment echoed throughout the event, uniting everyone present in the spirit of giving and compassion.
