Orange the World Campaigns
On 25th November , IWC Taiping President, participated in the “ Orange The World” campaign by distributing pamphlets to key individuals In Taiping. They included Dr. Sudha Sivasamy at her ENT clinic in Columbia Asia Hospital, Dr. Karenjeet Kaur at her clinic in KPJ, Lydia Megan at her Physio Spot and Harvinder Kaur at Bollywood Boutique. The President, Vijayalaxmi Kandasamy, expressed heartfelt gratitude to these ambassadors for their support in raising awareness and joining the initiative to “Orange The World”.

IWC Taiping President, Vijayalaxmi Kandasamy who is in the Line Dance Group, engaged with the Line Dance members of The New Club, Taiping, to raise awareness about the “ Orange The World” campaign. During the session, the President shared meaningful insights and practical ways to support women and girls suffering in silence, encouraging active participation in the global initiative.

The pamphlets distributed
On 30th November, IWC Taiping President, Vijayalaxmi Kandasamy along with her dedicated team comprising PIIWBD Rathy, PP Pushpavalli, PP Harvinder, ISO Kunavathi, members Doris and Visal shared insights about The Orange The World Campaign with Ms Kogelam, the Yoga Instructor of the Body, Mind and Soul Yoga Class and 18 of her students.
During the session, the President explained the objectives of the campaign and suggested ways in which Ms Kogelam and her students could help raise awareness and support victims effectively. ISO Kunavathi, elaborated on the symbolism of the colour orange, emphasising that it represents the rising sun, hope, and a future free from violence against women and girls.
Ms Kogelam, a philanthropist known for her generosity In conducting free yoga classes on Saturdays and assisting the needy, warmly embraced the initiative. Both she and her inspiring group of yoga students have joined IWC Taiping members as ambassadors for The Orange The World Campaign, strengthening it’s mission and reach.
