Installation of President 2024-2025 iwc johor bahru
On the fine evening of 20 July 2024, the Inner Wheel Club Johor Bahru (“IWCJB”) installed our esteemed President, Ms. Santhi Kathiresan, for the term 2024-2025.
Following a monthly general meeting bathed in the gentle glow of candlelight, Ms. Devahi, our organizing chairman, warmly introduced Ms. Santhi Kathiresan. The ladies of IWCJB greeted the newly elected President. Ms. Santhi was formally installed by our chartered president, Ms. Sumathi Subramaniam, round of applause from members such as Dr. Vidhu, Man Hua, Latha, Marlene, Adeline, Nalin, and our past president, Amy Nair, who conveyed her regards from Switzerland. A bouquet of lilies and roses were presented to President Santhi, adding to the heartfelt occasion. The newly elected Executive Committee under President Santhi was also duly installed.
President Santhi delivered a poignant speech, setting the tone for the evening. The distinguished gathering then savored a delicious vegetarian dinner at Roots, Taman Mount Austin, Johor Bahru.
After the ceremony, the mood subtly shifted as attention turned to the cake cutting ceremony to complete the night. Laughter and animated conversations filled the air as members of IWCJB and their invited guests gathered for photographs, capturing the joyful culmination of the day’s events. The atmosphere was celebratory yet intimate, with a sense of anticipation as all looked forward to indulging in the symbolic centerpiece marking this milestone moment.
The installation of President Santhi Kathiresan marked not only a new chapter for IWCJB but also a reaffirmation of their commitment to community and friendship. With hearts full of gratitude and optimism, the members of IWCJB look forward to a year of impactful initiatives under President Santhi’s leadership, continuing their tradition of making a difference in Johor Bahru and beyond.
