Past President Reconnects With Inner Wheel Club of Taiping.
On 7th August 2024, seven IWC Taiping Committee members gathered at Halim’s and Linda’ s residence to celebrate Friendship Day and the love the couple share. Linda has been unable to participate in IWC activities as she has to provide palliative care for her husband.True love really requires sacrifices and selflessness.
At around 5pm, President Vijayalaxmi Kandasamy and the committee members joined Linda and Halim for a heartwarming tea session at their porch admist the lush greenery of the garden. Halim communicated by writing on his board, delighting everyone with his antics and bringing laughter to the group. It was a learning experience for the visiting members, highlighting the need to embrace patience, tolerance and kindness. The members also viewed Halim’s art gallery, witnessing how he channels his energy in a meaningful way.
Linda,a Past President, and Halim demonstrated how one can become more capable of meeting the odds as life progresses.
