Royal Recipes From Dapur Istana Alam Shah For Ractar
On 19th August 2024, a group of ladies from the Inner Wheel Club of Kuala Lumpur (IWCKL) gathered at the elegant Open House, Jalan Stonor, for a charity luncheon that was as much a culinary delight as it was a philanthropic endeavor. The event was a celebration of the rich heritage of Selangor, with a menu inspired by the award-winning cookbook, “Dapur Istana Alam Shah: Royal Recipes from Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Selangor.”
The luncheon was a sumptuous affair, showcasing the exquisite flavors and culinary artistry of the royal kitchen. The ladies were treated to a gastronomic journey through the heart of Selangor, savoring dishes that reflected the state’s rich cultural heritage.
Beyond the delectable cuisine, the event held a deeper purpose. A portion of the proceeds from the luncheon will be donated to Rumah Amal Cahaya Tengku Ampuan Rahimah (RACTAR), a home for orphans and underprivileged girls.
