44th District 330 AGM Participation


Three members of the Inner Wheel Club of Butterworth attended District 330’s 44th AGM on Saturday, 28th September 2024. Two of them were Delegates, Club President Shanthi K Shanmugam and Treasurer Dr Jayashri T Nerali. District Secretary Lucy Barrock was the third attendee.

It was a successful AGM with all motions which were put to vote successfully passed under the able stewardship of District Chairman Vimalavathi T Pillai whose home club IWC Ipoh East were the hosts for both the AGM and the fellowship night held the previous evening.

There were animated discussions nevertheless and the Delegates from IWC Butterworth did their due diligence as the ones entrusted with carrying the Club’s votes. The ladies enjoyed their encounters with the more than one hundred attendees including delegates and observers from the other nineteen clubs in Inner Wheel District 330, Malaysia.

The fellowship held the night before on Friday evening, included the Installation of the District Committee of 2024-2025. The five year old Club was proud to have its own Charter President Lucy Barrock installed as the District Secretary- a coveted yet extremely busy position indeed.

The Club immediately jumped into its annual Deepavali charity project thereafter. Plans are afoot to increase membership and do projects aligned with International Inner Wheel’s current goals.
