A Double Celebration: Simultaneous Inner Wheel Installations
On Saturday, 9th November 2024, the Inner Wheel Club District 330 witnessed a double celebration as two clubs, the Inner Wheel Club of Kuantan Indera Mahkota and the Inner Wheel Club of Parklands, simultaneously installed their new executive committees for the year 2024-2025.
A Journey to Kuantan
A dedicated team of four Inner Wheel Club of Kuala Lumpur (IWCKL) members, IIWBD Juanita Lee, PDISO Foong Pack, PP Datin Brenda, and CC Sharon Tan embarked on a road trip to Kuantan to witness the installation ceremony of the 37th President of the Inner Wheel Club of Kuantan Indera Mahkota. The journey was filled with excitement and anticipation as they travelled to the beautiful coastal city.
Upon arrival, the group indulged in a delicious lunch and visited the fascinating Natural Batik Village. Later, they attended the installation dinner at the Rocana Hotel, where the distinguished District Chairman, Ms. Vimala Thayaman Pillai, and National Representative, Ms. Shanti Menon, were present to grace the occasion. The event was a grand affair, filled with elegance and camaraderie, as the new President and Exco Members were formally installed. The evening concluded with everyone dancing the night away and the crowning of our very own PP Datin Brenda Loh as one of the best dressed winners.
A Festive Evening in Klang
Meanwhile, in Klang, President Lena, Vice President Yoke Ling, and Past President Datin Regina Low joined the Inner Wheel Club of Parklands for a special Deeparia event to commemorate the second installation of their Executive Committee, led by President Dr. Theyveeka. The event was held at the vibrant Mithra Party Hall, where laughter, joy, and friendship filled the air. The evening provided a wonderful opportunity to connect with members from other clubs and strengthen the bonds of sisterhood.
Both installations were marked by a sense of unity, enthusiasm, and a shared commitment of service to the Community.
