Double celebration: Official DC Visit and Installation of 37th Club President.
The sunny Saturday on 9th November 2024 afternoon began with the Club’s meeting chaired by President Samini. In attendance were the Guest of Honour, District Chairman, District 330 Vimalavathy Thayaman Pillai, Inner Wheel National Rep District 330 and 331, Shanti Menon and our members who were all dressed in vibrant blue. The meeting which was also the platform for the official visit of DC Vimala, whom she is affectionately known, progressed smoothly and efficiently. DC Vimala advised the members to keep moving forward as the Club standing is our upmost priority. She is delighted to see the dedication and passion among all the members toward the Club. DC Vimala expressed her thanks and appreciation for a well conducted meeting.
Prior to the adjournment, a new member, Ms Nanthini was inducted by PP Dato Pathmathevy and President Samini in the presence DC Vimala & NR Shanti Menon.
The second segment of the evening was the installation of the 37th President of IWC Kuantan/Indera Mahkota, President Samini Anmpalagan. The occasion was graced by Guest of Honour, District Chairman District 330, Vimalavathy Thayaman Pillai, Inner Wheel National Rep District 330 and 331, Shanti Menon and International IW Board Director, Juanita Lee.
President Samini delivered her inspiring presidential speech and introduced her 2024/2025 Executive Committee and members of the IWC Kuantan/ Indera Mahkota. The club community service & activities were shared in a lovely video which highlighted the positive energy, togetherness & camaraderie of the members.
District Chairman Vimala congratulated President Samini & encouraged the club to continue its good work and shared the importance of staying true to the IIW Theme for 2024/2025 – Heartbeat of Humanity.
The club would like to thank District Chairman Vimalavathy Thayaman Pillai, NR Shanti Menon, International IW Board Director Juanita Lee, IWC ladies of Ipoh East and IWC Kuala Lumpur and all our honourable guests for gracing our special occasion.
