Walking Orange For A World Free From Violence

Last Sunday, the Inner Wheel Club of KL North joined forces with the Inner Wheel Club of Subang to participate in a solidarity walk at the serene Taman Botanic Perdana. The event was a powerful demonstration of unity and support for the Orange the World campaign, a global initiative aimed at ending violence against women.

Participants, dressed in vibrant orange, gathered at the designated meeting point, ready to embark on a guided walk through the picturesque gardens. The walk was more than just a physical activity; it was a symbolic gesture of solidarity, a visible statement against violence. To ensure inclusivity, buggies were provided for those who needed assistance, making the event accessible to all.

After the walk, participants gathered for light refreshments and engaging activities, fostering camaraderie and strengthening the bonds of friendship. The relaxed atmosphere provided an opportunity for members to connect, share experiences, and discuss the importance of the cause.

By actively participating in this event, the Inner Wheel Club of KL North has demonstrated its unwavering commitment to social justice and women’s empowerment. The club’s dedication to making a positive impact on society is evident through its involvement in such meaningful initiatives.
