IIW President Mamta Gupta visit and IWC Penang participation
IWC of Penang was represented by 5 ladies, Param, Sally, Arvind, Jillian, and Kulwant at the High Tea at the Well Hotel in Ipoh during the IIW President’s visit to the northern region of District 330.
In keeping with the evening’s theme, “Batik Elegancy,” President Mamta made her official entry, warmly ushered in by members of the District Committee.
Formalities were conducted. The highlight of the day was President Mamta’s speech. Her dynamic personality, inspiring words, and positive energy filled the hall and made it a memorable event. Camaderie, fellowship, and photos followed.
In the evening a “Majlis Buka Puasa bersama anak-anak Yayasan An-Nur Maisarah was held at Travelodge Hotel, Ipoh. The organiser was IWC Ipoh East, who did a good job, and the guest of honour was the IIW President Mamta Gupta. IWC Penang was represented by Jillian and Sally as the others had to drive back to Penang.
IWC Penang sponsored RM400 towards the project. The other sponsors being IWC KL, IWC Alor Setar and IWC Pearl of the Orient.
IWC Penang have to state that the visit of the IIW President has made a great impact on the IWC Penang ladies as they came home with renewed enthusiasm fortified by the belief that “I’m Possible”
