Fellowship at Restoran Big Baba
You know those moments that feel like coming home? That’s exactly what our fellowship lunch felt like today at Restoran Big Baba. It wasn’t just about the delicious Nyonya cuisine, but about the joy of reconnecting with a very special member of our Inner Wheel family: Past President and Charter Member Elizabeth Low.
Many of you know that Elizabeth is now an Aussie resident, so getting to have her with us again was a real treat. As we gathered around the table, the restaurant filled with laughter and fond memories. We reminisced about our club’s early days, shared stories of our journey together, and caught up on the years that have passed. It felt like no time had gone by at all.
This reunion was a beautiful reminder of what Inner Wheel is truly about. It’s not just the projects or the meetings; it’s the enduring friendships that we forge. Our bonds are strong enough to cross continents, and a simple lunch can feel like a celebration of a lifetime of sisterhood.
It was a perfect morning, filled with good food, even better company, and a renewed sense of connection. We waved Elizabeth off with full hearts and full bellies, already looking forward to her next visit. Her presence was a gift, reminding us all that the friendships we build here are truly for a lifetime.

A heartfelt reunion! Our Past President and Charter Member, Elizabeth Low (seated, in white), joined us for a wonderful Nyonya lunch at Restoran Big Baba during her visit from Australia
