A Proud Milestone For The Inner Wheel Club Of Alor Setar (IWCAS)


For the seventh consecutive year, IWCAS was honoured as a recipient of the Sultanah Bahiyah Foundation (YSB) annual grant - a recognition that reaffirms the Club’s commitment to meaningful service and community impact.

A glittering hi-tea and award ceremony was held in Alor Setar, graced by the crème de la crème of Kedah society, helmed by the Royal Guest-of-Honour, Che Puan Besar Hajah Haminah binti Haji Hamidun. President Ishka and Secretary Shantha represented the Club to accept this award.

The theme for the 2024-2025 term, “Heartbeat of Humanity,” was more than just words - it was a promise to serve with empathy, compassion, and purpose. Members are deeply moved that all efforts resonated with YSB, and that IWCAS continues to be seen as a Club that goes the extra mile to make a difference.

Heartfelt gratitude to YTM Tunku Intan Safinaz and YSB for this honour and recognition, fuelling members’ passion to do more, reach further, and serve better.

As members step into the new term, this recognition is carried with humility and renewed energy - ready to Step Up and Lead by Example, for the betterment of deserving lives. Here’s to service, sisterhood, and the spirit of giving.
