Crossing Borders for a Memorable Inner Wheel Gathering in Kathmandu, Nepal

In a beautiful display of Inner Wheel fellowship, Secretary Shantha and ISO & Club Correspondent Padmini carried the warmth of Malaysia all the way to Kathmandu.

Even before setting foot on Nepalese soil, plans were already in place for a meaningful international meet-up. Upon their arrival, the Marriott Hotel in Kathmandu became the backdrop for an exchange that beautifully blended cultures and camaraderie.

DISO Rajya Laxmi Baidar (District 350) graciously hosted the gathering, accompanied by four ISOs — Lelina Bhattari (IWC of Kantipur), Prashanna Adhikari (IWC of Bagmati), Bobina Joshi (IWC of Balaju), and Rasmira Shakya (IWC of New Road City). Their warm welcome set the tone for an enriching encounter filled with engaging conversations and shared experiences.

As stories from each club were exchanged, the spirit of unity and mutual admiration grew stronger. Moments of connection were captured in a flurry of photos as bannerettes and heartfelt gifts changed hands - small yet meaningful tokens symbolizing global friendship.

The morning unfolded with laughter, warmth, and promises to meet again - a true testament to the Inner Wheel spirit that knows no borders.

This special meeting was a reminder that while geography may separate members, the values of service, friendship, and understanding keep everyone deeply connected.
