Buns, Smiles & Heartfelt Miles – Inner Wheel at the Penang Hospice Charity Food Fair
On 10 August 2025, the Inner Wheel Club Pearl of The Orient, Penang participated in the Charity Food Fair organized by the Penang Hospice Society at Fort Cornwallis, Georgetown, Penang. With our tables filled with colourful steamed buns, crispy pastries, and wholesome noodles, we were ready bright and early by 7:30 am to welcome the morning crowd.
The atmosphere was buzzing with camaraderie, laughter, and a shared purpose – raising funds to support the compassionate work of the Penang Hospice Society. Our stall quickly became a cheerful pit stop for visitors, and by noon, every last item was sold out!
It was more than just a sale; it was a celebration of teamwork, friendship, and giving back to the community. Thank you to our members, friends, and supporters who made this day so memorable. Together, we proved that when hearts unite, great things happen.
