Nurturing Futures through Education, Compassion and Contribution


The Inner Wheel Club of Kuala Lumpur (IWCKL) successfully launched its President Project at SMK Jinjang on 11 th August with Toh Puan Datuk Seri Dr. Aishah Ong gracing the occasion as Guest of Honour.

Upon arrival, Toh Puan Dr. Aishah Ong and IWCKL President Pang Yoke Ling were warmly received by the Principal Encik Awang bin Dollar and his three Senior Assistants. The programme commenced at the school hall, where the donated items — including dictionaries, books, pens, pencils , tables and chairs for examination — were prominently displayed, reflecting IWCKL’s commitment to supporting students’ educational needs.

The contributions also included food aid for B40 students, ensuring no child goes hungry in school and the installation of two drinking water dispensers to provide students with clean and accessible drinking water throughout the day

A group photograph was taken to mark the memorable occasion, followed by a brunch hosted by the school in the meeting room.

In his speech, the Principal Encik Awang conveyed deep appreciation for the donations and contributions, emphasising how they would benefit the students. He extended heartfelt thanks to IWCKL for its generosity and continuous dedication to improving learning facilities.

IWCKL PresidentYoke Ling, addressed the gathering with an inspiring message on the value of education. She urged students to apply themselves diligently to their studies, to strive for excellence, and to work towards a future filled with promise and opportunity.

Two students representatives also gave heartfelt thank you speeches expressing their gratitude for the contributions and sharing how the contributions would inspire them and their peers to work harder and aim higher.

The event concluded with warm fellowship and a renewed commitment to nurturing young minds, underscoring IWCKL’s mission to empower communities through education.
